| Have been really busy for the last couple weeks, busy packing up. There are just too many things in our house - we have been in Sydney for more than 10 years altogether. You can imagine how many non-use things at home especially with 4 ladies, we have been piling up clothes, accessories and other miscellenous stuffs *god* I think I have donated more than 15 "garbage bags" containing non-use items for agessssss. I have either donated or dumping stuffs out of our house. It is just terrible when I take everything out of my wadrobe and clear it all, I think I have spent a week just clearing my room. Ron and I have been clearing the apartment basically everyday, transferring things to garage; dumping furnitures at B1 and donating stuffs at Crows Nest. I have bascially emptied my sister's room and my room and leaving the living room and the master bedroom unchanged. We dun sleep until like 1ish at night and poor ron has to get up and go to work the next morning, he must be really exhausted. I've got the painters to come in on Monday and Tuesday, all done and now the cleaners will come tmr to clean the whole apartment and hopefully can organise the removers to come and pack all the boxes and send it off on Friday. Seems like everything is organised, hopefully it is not left with too much work for me. I am very exhausted. Other than packing, I have spent some time with my grandparents as they are over for more than 1 month. Its cool how I get to eat Rengaya 2 times whilst they are here and had it once with ron ron the other night YUMMY *mouth-watering*. I really need to lose some weight before I go back, I have lost a bit but have regained a little bit again argggggh Have had individually met a couple close fds before I go back! Met jenzi last week for dinner last week, then yum cha with Eric and Annie on Sunday; then met Theresa (Korea girl) on Monday @ Maisys for drinks; then today with Jessica and Carmen in the city and tomorrow night with Jenzi, Jacob, Ron and Judy for drinks hehe coz me and ron wanna watch a movie before I go back. Then I will be spending the whole friday and saturday with Ron. We have booked Cafe Sydney for Friday night, surprisingly we have to book a week in advance to sit outside in the terrace but I am sure it's going to be a great night. I am looking forward to watch sunrise on that night, hopefully we won't be too sleepy and couldn't wake up by then. I had lunch with my colleagues at Fook Yuen today, Matt; Kate; Paddy; Lofty; Grant; Yas and Mark all came along and I went to the office to visit Ffion; H; Adam; Macca; Mia and Tanya. It was good to catch up with them before I go, unfortunately Sarah went to Perth for her sister's wedding. We have changed our plans, thought of going to Vagas after I go back, but dad has just been to USA, so we are now going to Bali for holiday with the whole family including my little bro (not missing him out this time) I just can't wait for see him again!!! Lots have been happening, not much time to rest tho. I will enjoy the last couple of days in Sydney with all my fds and ron. 3 DAYS LEFT | | |
| Had a really busy weekend but really enjoyable too Friday (05/09) Had a busy day at work, then left office early due to month end wrap up in the city. Parked car, then decided to find ron earlier heheehe (coz didn't really wanna go pub). Arrived early but then ron was not home and my mobile got disconnected as I haven't paid my bill yet -__-" I was sort of pissed off at ron but later he told me he needs to get change and go out and get sth. I thought he's going to get some dessert to make me happy, so I didn't bother ask and couldn't think anything else. But then I saw him gelling his hair, ummm, then there must be something wrong. Ron then surprised me saying that he's taking me out for dinner, to Pink Salt, trying the degustation meal. Ron also put 6 different soft toys in his car to surprise me - 3 "long mai" for different size and 3 cows from Toy R US, which is similar to the ones I have at home hehe. I was very much surprised, never thought we're going out for dinner as he rejected the dinner with Annie and Eric and I went to Pacific Square to get some groceries too hehe. Headed off to Pink Salt, a bit disappointed coz the sor lo forgot to check whether they have degustation available on Friday, but then it was a romantic night. We had beef carpaccio; salmon with capers as entree then sirloin and squid ink pasta with blue swimmer crab. It was delicious, had a glass of wine too, so was feeling a bit pis afterwards Thanks for everything ron ron Saturday (06/09) Did some shopping in Chatswood in the arvo, haven't been shopping for a little while. Didn't really buy anything but really enjoyed the time with him, it was just fun hanging around in the shopping mall doing nothing. Then we cooked at home for dinner and watched couple dvds. It was a pretty quiet night but relaxing, enjoying the night just by ourselves. Sunday (07/09) Brunch with Judy at Surry Hills, but wasn't tat impressed my fetta omelette, it was just too cheesy. Then headed off to Fox Studio to watch the advanced screening of Mummy 3, this is the second time to watch it coz ron has naughtly got a copy of it. Before Sunday, watched mummy 2 the night before as was showing on Channel 10. I was soo fed up with mummy afterwards lol Monday (08/09) Sarah has officially announced that I will be leaving the company in 3 weeks time before we finished work today (handed in resignation last week but Sa was away on holiday). It was really sad and I will definitely miss Matt and Kate. Matt has been training me since day 1 and he is still taking really good care of me up till now, very supportive senior and Kate is just a lovely girl and we have been working alongside with each other for the past couple months, I look after NorthShore and she looks after North Ryde clients but at the same level. I was really happy that Sa and Matt asked whether I would like to work for Michael Page (HK) and Sharms asked whether it's a temporary thing that I will be heading to hk. I feel really happy that seems like my work has been recognised by the team. Just made 2 other placements this morning which is good news for a client that we are not on the PSA. Glad with my results, want to make a big month then I can leave with high flies. I cried when Sa was annoucing it especially Matt was looking at me. Matt is such a great guy and I'll definitely remember all the effort he has spent on me. Thanks Matt. Anyways, these things happen. | | |
| Had the most fattest day on Friday...Macca as breakie in the morning, then chicken pie and salad for lunch then KFC for dinner...um...can't imagine how many calories I have consumed, dun really wanna think abt it. Ron even said he wanted to eat Nandoos for dinner on Saturday night before Jenzi's bday party. I was like NOOOOOO like eat 3 fast food within 2 days. We ended up having seafood hot pot at home hehe it was delicious!!! It's like Masuya's Sapporo seafood hotpot, we bought blue swimmer crab, 1 ocean trout fillet, 5 calamari rings, 6 pacific oysters, 4 mussels and they all add up to $30 ONLY!!! Fresh!!! It was a delicious meal, but maybe next time we should have less stock or get an extra crab, unexpectedly cheap!!! K after the dinner, had fun, it has been a while since I last went to K, dun think I will go to K if it isn't someone's bday. My colleagues said they will be having a K night this coming Friday, I was like.."errr" I dun really sing K, then Matt said "Lozza, dun let me down, come on" I was like "oh shit", let me make up some reasons sin hehehee see wat happens! Thinking of giving ron some surprise before I go, but dun really have much time to prepare since we are together. I guess this is why he's so frustrated sometimes when he wants to make me sth and then I always get sick when he doeesn't stay beside me! Anyways, hopefully I can figure what to do | | |
| Month End Round Up as usual in the city office! Had my 2nd Personal Break this month (40k), super lucky - another $100 Myer voucher, can now use it in conjunction with the other one for the VACUUM CLEANER wahahah (vacuum cleaner here I am - need to check out prices this weekend). I was just very lucky to have the fee to come thro the last minute, closing time was Wednesday at 6pm and the client didn't get back to me until 4pm in the arvo saying tat he's going to offer my candidate for the job which is 100k base + super *WALLOP* the biggest fee I ever had hahahahhaaha if the role didn't come through this month, then my vacuum cleaner plan will be GONE but YES I MADE IT!!!! We won't be given the myer voucher unless it's 5k more than the previous one so literally I have to be really hardworking. First month for full operation, made 12k (dun get anything for the first fee) - April. Then the 2nd month, made 32k then was away for jury service for a month, made NOTHING haha then this month 40k so I literally just made it and I've stolen some of Grant's Temp to Perm fee ($2500) kekekekkekeekekekkee I really wonder whether I can break the record for next month (quite impossible for my desk) umm my Manager has given me a target and if I hit 15 placements for the quarter, I can join the Platinum Club to Hawaii but ummmm *day-dreaming* here. After the round up, had a power dinner with my colleague today at Masuya *jenzi would know wat i'm talking abt* - funny one!!! Anyways, blogging, supposed to go out to Pancakes for supper but ron is sleeping like a pig (better not disturb him coz he looked really pale when I got to his place). Ummm dunno wat I should do for tomorrow...nothing planned yet...let me think think kekekekke | | |
| I am very tired today dunno why, didn't sleep well last night? Was talking to ron abt this funny thing, have a client meeting with a Finance Director in Chatswood for job pick up. Normally I wouldn't go to see this level of clients as they are quite senior, but Matt and Helen went to meet her 2 months so I went there with Grant. I've been with Page for 7 months and Grant for 5 months. The most shocking thing is the FD came down with the CFO of the group, I didn't know who he was, I just know his name and when we looked at the business card - his title is CFO of Australia and NZ, we were wooooooooooow - 2 little prawns meeting the "shark" haha but yeah the coffee meeting went well. Went to the city office for accounting support meeting with the new AD from New York, never had this kind of intense training. He's very directive and straight forward, luckily it wasn't my turn to do role play otherwise I'll be super nervous. Maybe of the training, I'm very tired~~~ Anyways, should go to bed soon. 10:01pm | | |
